2019 Whittle the Wood Schedule of Events

(all events are schedule to change)

Open Daily from 9am to Dusk to watch the chainsaw artists work.
FREE shuttles Saturday from 10am to 8pm departing every 30 minutes from The O.P, JW Snacks, Mather's and the K-Mart parking lots.

Wednesday June 12th
9:00am Carvers draw stumps & the competition begins
Dusk Carving ends for the day

Thursday June 13th
9:00am to Dusk Carving competition is open to the public

Friday June 14th
9:00am to Dusk Carving competition is open to the public
Beer Garden opens Friday afternoon
Bear River Young Life BBQ & Classic Car Cruise at Yampa Valley Bank
4:30pm Live music kicks off with Black Mountain Riot
6:30pm LIVE Music continues with The Movers & Shakers

Saturday June 15th
ADMISSION Kids 12 & Under get in Free
7:30am Registration begins for Pirates of the Yampa River Race at Loudy-Simpson Park boat ramp
8:00am Annual Friends of Moffat County Education "Wake the Whittler" 5K and Family Fun Run
9:00am Pirates of the Yama River Race begins
9:00am Carving continues
Beer Garden, Arts & Crafts and Food Vendors OPEN all Day
10:00am Shuttles begin
10:00am Bear River Young Life Classic Car show begins in downtown Craig
11:00am Registration begins for Pirates of the Yampa Poker Run Pebble Beach east of the airport
11:30am Pirates of the Yampa Poker Run begins
1:00pm Quick Carve Competition takes place
1:00PM - 4:00PM  Thunder Rolls Cornhole Tournament (Download the rules & information HERE)

3:00pm  LIVE music kicks off with Tylor & The Train Robbers
3:00pm Competition ends and judging begins
5:00pm Competition Winners are Announced and LIVE music continues
5:30pm Saturday's Headliner
LEFTOVER SALMON takes the stage
8:00pm Last Shuttle leaves Loudy-Simpson Park
